Toys, treats, and supplies needed

Thank you for thinking of the animals in our care! HSPPR appreciates our community’s willingness to donate new or gently used items, but we kindly request only items from the list below. Items brought to us that are not on this list may be turned away or disposed of. While we wish we could accept all donations, we do not have the space or resources for items that we cannot utilize to their full potential.

Items needed on a continuous basis:

  • unopened dog and cat treats
  • cat toys and shelter-safe dog toys (Nylabones, Kongs, and BarkBox SuperChewers)
  • puppy pads
  • non-clumping cat litter
  • peanut butter
  • clean, good condition, full-sized towels
  • airline pet carriers (no wire crates or soft-sided carriers)
  • paper towels
  • feliway calming spray for cats
