What's Your Feline-ality? First of all, what IS Feline-ality?
Our new Meet Your Match Feline-ality program uses researched-based assessments of the shelter cats’ behavior to help you easily find the purr-fect companion for you. We assess all cats that are at least nine months old, determining their bravado, sociability and playfulness.
Cool! How does it work?
The behavior assessments gauge cats’ interest in play, exploration, talking, and getting attention, placing them in one of the nine color-coded Feline-ality types. By understanding their basic personalities, we can help them find adopters whose personalities and lifestyles will fit well with their needs. Adopters complete a simple survey to help us understand what they’re looking for in a cat. You can print a survey to bring to the shelter with you, or pick up a survey the next time you visit us. We'll review your survey and give you a color-coded Guest Pass that you can match to the color-coding shown on the cats’ kennel cards. This gives both you and the cat a better chance for a successful, permanent adoption! Ready to Meet the Feline-alities?
